Meet I.N.S.P.I.R.E. Summer Camp Lead Counselor

Regina Martinez is a seasoned educator with over two decades of experience in the field of education. With a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas, and a Master’s degree in School Counseling from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth.  

Throughout her dynamic career, Regina has held various roles in education, including serving as a first-grade teacher, kindergarten teacher, second-grade teacher, high school counselor, and homeschool educator. Her diverse background has equipped her with a deep understanding of the developmental needs of students across different age groups and educational settings. 

Currently, Regina serves as a dedicated school guidance counselor at a private school catering to grades PK-8. Her passion for teaching and nurturing young minds is evident in her commitment to helping students develop essential life skills and social competencies that will serve them well beyond the classroom. 

Outside of her professional endeavors, Regina finds joy in outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, gardening, and raising chickens. She believes in the importance of connecting with nature and instilling a sense of appreciation for the environment in the children she works with. 

Regina is thrilled to join INSPIRE camp, where she hopes to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children by imparting valuable skills and fostering a love for learning that extends far beyond the campgrounds. Her enthusiasm, dedication, and genuine passion for education make her a valuable asset to any educational community.
